They also can be informative, exploring the details of a problem solved by a given company’s goods or service. If anyone has played Dying Light you know what kind of night time experience I'm talking about. Another 40-minute timer starts until it turns nighttime again etc etc. Nighttime should last at least 30 minutes and after that, it turns back to day and players that survive can then exfil. Nighttime exclusive contracts ( a challenge but good rewards obv ) No regular zombies spawn, only armored, special/bosses. Low Threat Zones completely disappear and Medium & High Threat Zone expands reduced visibility cus night ( add night vision goggles as ground loot, preferably rare ) My suggestion is instead of the storm expanding when the timer ends, it would be better if it switched to nighttime and still gave players a fighting chance. To pause the Timer, use the button in the lower right corner if you're on a laptop or desktop machine, move your mouse to make the pause button appear.Zombies turned out better than I expected, but I kinda don't like that timer forcing us to exfil or die to some zombie storm. If you go over your chosen time, the Timer screen will turn red, flash "OVER TIME," and begin counting up. The Timer will switch to a second-by-second countdown at 90 seconds. The dots along the bottom show your progress through each minute (each dot represents six seconds). Next hit "Start now" to begin the countdown immediately, or "Start in 10 seconds" to give yourself time to get ready.įor a less distracting countdown, the Timer initially displays minutes only - for example, a 14-minute talk will flash “14” to start, then display “13” for the next 60 seconds, then “12,” and so on. To start the Timer, select the duration of your talk (choose any length from 2 to 18 minutes). If you want to use the Timer like an app on your mobile device, tap on the share icon (iOS) or menu button (Android) and select “Add to Home Screen.” Using Chrome’s Presentation Mode allows you to focus only on the timer. The TED Countdown Timer is free to use, and can be accessed through any Web browser. Thanks for using the TED Countdown Timer - the same one designed for use at the TED Conference - to rehearse and time your own TED Talk! While the software has the right configuration options it is not meant for high DPI display making all the menus and text very tiny. My biggest gripe with the G903 has more to do with the Logitech software, which is needed to control its more advanced features. Ugh, the software Using the Logitech G903 The good news is while the G903 is in some ways a minor refresh over the G900 it doesn't feel any worse either. I think if you have a lot of wireless interference in your room or just want the best signal response theG903 is the way to go, but it's not a cheap expenditure. Whether all of that is worth the extra $35 for the G903 versus the G900 is tough to say. Still, I prefer the more solid feel of a weighted down mouse, so that's a win for the G903. I like this feature although I have seen Lenovo do it with multiple smaller weights letting users "customize" how many grams are added versus 10 grams or nothing. It's Frequency Agility Mechanism sounds like it does what Razer's AFT does by helping avoid cluttered wireless channels.įinally, there is the previously mentioned optional 10-gram weight that you can add to the G903. Logitech calls its optimization "Frequency Agility Mechanism" and says that is has a signal strength up to 16x (12dB) higher than the competition. There is the new "Lightspeed Wireless" which sounds a bit like Razer's Adaptive Frequency Technology (AFT) but doesn't go quite so far in its claims. In fact, the G903 is the same as the G900 save for a few minor differences. The PMW3366 optical sensor is highly regarded in the gaming community, and that same technology is found in the G903. The Logitech G900 is considered by many to be one of the best wireless gaming mice on the market. Look ma, no hands Compared to the Logitech G900 and POWERPLAY charging There is also a switch to turn the mouse on or off but no compartment for the 2.4GHz wireless dongle, which is a bit weak. On the bottom, the G903 is exceptionally clean with just the Logitech and G903 branding in blue. While I never use such a feature, I understand that many do and since it's optional, it's great to have just in case. Being Logitech, however, the company has added release button that lets the wheel shift to free spin. The scroll wheel is significantly clicky with precise movement. Users can, of course, customize or even disable the lighting via the Logitech software. While it contrasts very well with the jet-black body, it's not quite as cool as Razer's Chroma lighting. The all-black design though hides some of the more garish aspects, and it looks quite nice all around.Īlthough Logitech boasts some RGB lighting, it is really on the "G" logo on the back that glows and shifts between the 16.8 million colors. There are sharp angles for the buttons, lots of divots, and a more spaceship vibe than a traditional mouse. The look of the G903 is more aggressive than the Razer Lancehead with what I would call a more gamer aesthetic. So in other words your mouse isn't sophisticated enough to implement the behavior of shutting down the LED when it's not in use.Metal spring tensioning with "bounce back"Įleven independently programmable buttonsġ30 x 66.5 x 40.4 mm (5.13 x 2.62 x 1.59 in)ģ.88 oz (110 g) mouse only (Excluding cable)Īpproximately 24 hrs with RGB (32 hours without)Īggressive but a looker Logitech G903 design (A really useful behavior would be, when the mouse is powered up, to flash the LED several times to indicate "I have power and have started up!" and then turn it off if there is no communication with a host.) The LED being on would confirm that the host is interacting with the mouse, not only providing power. This feature could have diagnostic value also. (There may even be other ways in the USB protocol to infer that the host is down.) So the mouse should be able to notice that it has not been polled by the host for some time, and shut down the LED. It contains a little microcontroller which coordinates all of its functions, including USB communication with the host. The mouse is a little computer in itself. The LED being on provides no benefit, and can be a nuisance at night. After all, the mouse can't be used when the computer is powered off. But that's not a good answer why it is on. The LED is able to stay on because the mouse is powered, yes. Fan fiction must be labeled, such as using to denote such a post.
